Droptree: Droptree shows items as a tree-view instead of showing them as the dropdown. The user is allowed to select a single item at a time. It shows complete Sitecore tree if the source is not provided at the time of field declaration. The source can be XPath Query or GUID and Item Path. Droptree does not support field render. You can access field types allowing the user to select a single item, including Droplink, Droptree, and Grouped Droplink fields by using the bushfelling.barnceField class.
The bushfelling.barItem property contains the bushfelling.bar specified by the field, or Null. For example, to access the item specified by sitecore drop tree Droptree field named. The most recent Sitecore Query documentation I found was here: to the “Source” field in my ScriptsSelectionItem template field and open the ScriptSelectionItem in the Content tree, I now see that the MultiList field points to only the items in the context site for the user.
I have a drop tree and my client wants to be able to have the possibility to choose from two folders.
It stores the IDs of the selected items.
We have a multi site and the structure looks like this: but I can't find any good query to display only the folders and not the whole Sitecore tree. sitecore-client. Share. Improve this question. Follow edited Dec 22 '16 at Radu.
Mar 24, 1. The Treelist stores multiple items and the droplist only one. Both stores the IDs of items under the hood. Treelist: {BB14FACE-4AD8-A18B-DDC0F}| {6F8FA16D-EDFBA2AD7EE2B5} Droplist: {BB14FACE-4AD8-A18B-DDC0F} Also there are differences when accessing those type using Sitecore's API.
Treelist: Treelist accommodate the selected items from the source provided in Field’s source property. If no source is provided, it will list the whole Sitecore tree and user editors will be able to select any item from there. Treelist stores the values in pipe-separated IDs. This field type cannot be rendered. Drag & Drop – use this option to upload a single file or multiple files by dragging them from Windows Explorer to the Sitecore Media Library. Note The drag-and-drop functionality is currently only supported in Internet Explorer 7 or later.
